STRATEGY --

The Climate Change Exhibition allows flexibility in the type of work that can be displayed, whether it be a physical model or sculpture, all the way to digital displays. The overall form of the exhibition is an interesting link between the two main materials (ETFE Foil and Stacked cardboard) representing the impact of Climate Change on our environment and how these two materials are in close proximity, although do not physically touch emphasising the point of no return.

ARTIFICIAL LIGHTING STRATEGY --

Lighting is an important element within this space and impacts the experience of visitors, as well as the elements and objects being displayed. Lighting within this space includes decorative, ambient and task lighting in the form of pendant, concealed and recessed lighting. With the use of white LED lighting to allow purpose and intrigue within the space. LED is the suitable lighting solution as they use 75% less energy when compared to incandescent lighting. The energy used by all lighting within the site, will be generated through solar panels that will be fixed to the roof of the Boiler House.
